Yard Sale Update!!
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the yard sale. This year was a great success. We made over $450.00. That is way cool. Thank you to Kyrie's family for letting us use the Snow Shack also. I think that was a wonderful idea. I think the cake raffle was a great idea also but if we do another one we can plan it out differently, to where we make more and sell more tickets and we need to put them in a cooler. LOL!!! Overall I think that everyone had fun, and we will continue to get more fundraisers going. And pictures from the yard sale will be posted shortly too!!! As far as I know we are starting car washes ever other Tuesday and they will be in July. I will get confirmation on that tho. It will be after practices on Tuesdays probably until 7 MAYBE!!! I'm not positive. Once it gets all figured out everyone will be informed!!! Thanks

Yard Sale!!!
So we have decided that the yard sale is going to be June 26 at 436 West Young from 8~3. You may get a hold of Kinzie Baker to talk about when you can drop your stuff off and how soon you can drop it off.You do need to price the stuff yourself if you want credit for it. If it don't have a price on it, it will go into the colorguard acct. Also we are going to be doing a cake raffle, and ask that everyone that can be there to bake a cake(or yes you can buy one)and we will sell the raffle tickets for 2 dollars then at the end of the yard sale we will do the drawing!! Also I think it was mentioned about having the snow cone shack at the yard sale too! This will be discussed in the meeting on the 16th. Thanks

At 7pm the band parents are going to show up.(they have to drop their kids off anyway for practice) Those of you who are willing and plan on helping you need to come prepared with calendars so that we can decide on the mini meetings that will need to happen. Also the mini groups!!! Thanks!

Change of practice location!
So I decided that having access to inside the school would be easier, then not having it at all. So practices will now be at Poky instead of Irving, until further notice. We may eventually run into a problem the later the summer gets but as of right now that is where practices will be. Still Tuesday and Wednesday 8-11 and Friday 9-12. EXCEPT Wednesday the 16th practice will only go until 10am because I have a meeting at 11am that I cannot miss. Have them still bring water and snacks and sunscreen(in case we go outside). Also just a heads up for the Clinic on June 22&23 practice will go from 8-2 and they will get a lunch break so they do need to bring lunches those 2 days. Any questions call or email me!!

June 8
Hey guys remember we have practice at 8 am Tuesday morning at Irvin on the track. Make sure that you bring water and a snack so that you don't get dehydrated or sick. Also make sure you bring sunscreen, you are welcome to wear a hat if you want. I don't really care what you wear just as long as you are comfortable in it. Be ready to work hard over the next few weeks!! I am excited. We will also be discussing fundraisers and stuff that are going to happen soon!! I will see you guys Tuesday!!

Rifles!!
So the rifles have been ordered and hopefully they will be here next week sometime!!! I am so excited for you guys to use them. Anyone is able to try out for the rifle line. Let me just make this clear to everyone because I think there may be some confusion. Everyone will be doing flag and dance but there is going to be a rifle feature in the show and that is going to be whoever makes the rifle line. So if you just want to stick with flag that is fine. But in the show there may be 3 groups which will be some flag, some dance, and some rifle. I don't know yet at this point. But I promise you that if you try out for rifle and make it you will love it. It is a hard piece of equipment to learn but you will be so glad that you learned it!!!! Anyways I am so excited!!!! I will see all of you next week!!!
